The skatepark first appeared in an abandoned pub car park during the lockdown in spring 2020. Over the space of a few weeks it became a community.

There’s a spirit to the skatepark that captures the small positives to be taken from an unusual year; an ingenuity, a togetherness, and an ambition to create against adversity.
